Hiveminder is teh Bomb

There are a lot of online to do lists. I have been messing around with Hiveminder lately. It’s pretty cool. I have tried out Voo2do too. Hiveminder has a really nice feature that helps you figure out what you’re going to work on right now. Voo2do is cool because it helps you track projects and time spent on projects. Really I like them both… but at the moment Hiveminder is the one I’m using.

I always have more stuff on my list than I will ever accomplish in a reasonable amount of time. If I look at the whole list it makes me a little queasy. Hiveminder lets me go through my whole list and helps me pick a reasonable amount of projects to focus on right now.

I think it also has some cool sort features… where if you have a job open, you can write in a task that has to be done first & a task that has to be done after, so if I need to have someone review their website before I can upload it, I can make “get proof approval for website” a prerequisite of the “upload website” task.

Plus, I can sort my work tasks, and my personal tasks into separate groups. Everything is taggable too so I can tag print jobs with print & web jobs with web, or web jobs with the server that they’re on so that I can multitask while I’m already working on that server.

Voo2do has a cooler name though.
